Kale posts 31 pc rise in revenues

KALE Consultants Ltd (Kale), a software solutions and outsourcing services provider to the travel & transportation industry, has recorded a 31 per cent rise in revenues of Rs 16.38 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, against Rs 12.46 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.

The company recorded a profit after tax of Rs 1.38 crore (Rs 43 lakh) for the third quarter, a growth of 223 per cent, a company release said. "The improved margins are on account of Kale's product-led business model, wherein, costs corresponding to the incremental revenues grow at a lower rate, resulting in improved profitability. "The dedicated investment towards the creation and enhancement of product solutions has started paying off," a company release said here.
