HCL bags big orders

NEW DELHI: HCL Infosystems has said it has bagged orders worth Rs 250 crore for computer business, including system integration and hardware, in the past eight weeks.

In one such deal, HCL would be building the ICT infrastructure for new retail branches of a leading banking and financial institution. It has also clinched a large-scale state-wide order for deployment of HCL PCs and servers both in rural and urban schools.

"This project will ensure that students of more than 1000 schools are digitally enabled to face tomorrow's global competition," a HCL release said here.
