Language processing workshop at Vellore

CHENNAI: A one-day workshop on Natural Language Processing (NLP) - Challenges and Limitations will be held on February 6 at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore.

Organised by the Computer Society of India (CSI), the workshop is for professionals and researchers working in NLP and allied areas such as theoretical and application perspectives of descriptive linguistics and lexicology, says a CSI press release.

Ms Bettina Harriehausen-Muhlbauer, Professor, FH-Darmstadt University, Germany, will be the key resource person along with academicians and industry experts from IIT Madras, IIT Hyderabad, CAIR Bangalore and Yahoo! Bangalore, the release says.
