Air-conditioners & Refrigerators Blue Star Q3 net up, to pay 100 pc Our Bureau
Mumbai , Jan. 27 BLUE Star has reported a net profit of Rs 6.91 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, a 17 per cent improvement year-on-year. The company has declared a dividend of 100 per cent. During the quarter under review, total income grew 18 per cent to Rs 263.82 crore and the earnings per share improved to Rs 3.84 (Rs 3.30). For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2005, total income grew 27 per cent to Rs 778.65 crore, while the net profit increased by 29 per cent to Rs 23.54 crore (Rs 18.28 crore). The cumulative EPS for the nine-month period stood at Rs 13.09 as against Rs 10.16 last year. During the quarter, the company received orders from State Bank of India, Mumbai and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Delhi, among others.
