Prajay Engg net rises

HYDERABAD: Prajay Engineers Syndicate Ltd has reported a net income of Rs 19.08 crore and a net profit of Rs 5.01 crore for the third quarter of current fiscal ended December 2005 compared with a net income of Rs 3.92 crore and a net profit of Rs 16.46 lakh during the same period last fiscal.

For the nine-month period, the company's income stood at Rs 43.74 crore (Rs 10.17 crore) and net profit at Rs 13.04 crore (Rs 29.63 lakh).

During the quarter under review, the company has raised $15 million through foreign currency convertible bonds convertible into equity shares at a price of Rs 75 per share. In a press release here, the company said the bonds were listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
