AHMEDABAD: Cadila Healthcare Ltd's Q3 net profit (consolidated) is up 36 per cent at Rs 39.6 crore from Rs 29.1 crore in the year-ago period.The pharmaceutical company, better known as Zydus Cadila, saw a 17 per cent increase in its total income at Rs 382.2 crore (Rs 326.7 crore). "Riding high on a strong performance, the group has already surpassed the annual net profit for the entire year of 2004-05 within just nine months.

The net profits surged to Rs 121.8 crore for the nine months ended December 31, 2005," Zydus said in a press release on Saturday.
