Indo-Pak rail link reopening delayed

Our Bureau

New Delhi , Jan. 28

THE reopening of Indo-Pak rail link between Munabao and Khokrapar is likely to be delayed by two weeks. This is because the India-Pakistan discussions for finalising agreement to run trains on link would now be held in Islamabad during January 30-31, instead of January 23-24 as planned earlier, according to an official release. The rail link was slated to open on February 1.

Consequently, the reopening of the rail link is likely to be delayed by about two weeks, it added. The 10-member Indian delegation will be led by Mr Ashok Gupta, Advisor (Traffic), Railway Board.
