Skoda Auto launches Laura at Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: Skoda Auto India launched Laura, here on Saturday evening.

According to Mr Yaswant, dealer, representingMahavir Auto, the price range will be from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 23 lakh. "We hope to sell more than a hundred cars here during this year," he said.

He said Mahavir Auto, the exclusive dealer of Skoda in Andhra Pradesh and Orissa, had set up offices in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar. Mahavir was also dealing in used cars, he added.

According to a press release issued by the company on the occasion, it has appointed 41 dealers so far in the country and has sold 25,000 cars since November, 2001, when it first entered the market. It has a manufacturing plant at Aurangabad. It offers 12 luxury models.
