Mumbai , Jan 31

TATA Consultancy Services is going to develop a new facility at Gandhinagar in Gujarat, the first phase of which will have 2,000 seats once fully commissioned.

This will be located on 20 acres in Infocity in Gandhinagar. The company has already recruited 480 employees in the State during the current financial year.

The new facility will augment the presence of TCS in Gujarat, where the company is already working with the Government as well as other public sector firms and dairy cooperatives, said a news release from the company.

The Gandhinagar facility will cater to the needs of the Government and utility sector clients of TCS as well as focus on ERP projects being executed by the company for global clients. The facility will be operational in 18 months.
