5-day machine tools expo begins at Delhi

AN exhibition for machine tools, Tooltech 2006, is being organised in the Capital to showcase the latest in machine tool trends.

The five-day exhibition would be inaugurated on Wednesday by Mr B.M. Munjal, Chairman, Hero Honda Motors.

The exhibition, being organised by Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA), would see companies from Korea, Germany, Spain, the UK, the US and India displaying their tools and accessories.

The exhibition would act as a platform to display the developments in the machine tools industry, both globally and in India, said Mr C.P. Rangachar, President, IMTMA. Business worth Rs 20 crore is expected to be generated at the exhibition, he added.
