Simplex clocks 13 pc rise in Q3 net

SIMPLEX Infrastructures Ltd, a leading infrastructure and engineering company, hopes to achieve a turnover growth of around 40 per cent in 2005-06.

In 2004-05, the company recorded a turnover about Rs 1,000 crore, Mr B.D. Mundhra, Chairman and Managing Director, told newspersons.

During the third quarter of the current fiscal, turnover went up to Rs 374.70 crore, a growth of 43.37 per cent from Rs 261.35 crore in the corresponding previous period.

Profit before tax at Rs 14.02 crore saw an increase of 23.09 per cent from Rs 11.39 crore earlier. Net profit went up 13.05 per cent to Rs 11 crore (from Rs 9.73 crore).
