Power Security opens Indian division

POWER Security Services, a Dubai-based company, inaugurated the Indian division of its turnkey security solutions company here on Friday.

Mr Venu Gopal, Director, Power Security Services, told newspersons that the security division of the company provides integrated security management systems that includes services such as physical manned guarding services, VIP protection, events security management and parking management.

Mr Gopal said these services were provided with the help of several gadgets such as access and monitoring systems, cameras and security beams, trained canines, walkie-talkie systems, mobile patrol vehicles fitted with radios, CCTV, and a 24-hour command and control centre.

He said the security personnel were trained in close combat counter attack, fire fighting, first-aid, public relations and crime handling.

The company will invest Rs 3.5 crore in the coming quarter in setting up its facilities, and has projected a turnover of Rs 1.5 crore for its security personnel services and Rs 3.5 crore for its security systems by the year-end.

Mr Gopal said that plans were in the pipeline to expand to other parts of India as well as Sri Lanka, Nepal, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
