Jubilant bags manufacturing contracts worth $40 m

JUBILANT Organosys Ltd has managed to garner annual contracts worth $40 million from well-known pharmaceutical and agro-chemical companies for custom manufacturing of intermediates and fine chemicals for the calendar year 2006.

In addition to these annual contracts, the company will also execute half yearly, quarterly and monthly contracts and spot sales. Jubilant has also signed annual contracts worth $28 million for 2007.

In a statement, Mr Shyam S. Bhartia, Chairman and Managing Director, and Mr Hari S. Bhartia, Co-Chairman and Managing Director of Jubilant said: "The long-term contracts signed by the company signify the growing confidence of the large pharmaceuticals and agrochemical companies in our capability to partner them."
