Satyam in pact with Danish co

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has entered into a long-term strategic partnership with KMD, one of the largest IT companies in Denmark, to provide SAP solutions.

Owned by the National Association of Local Authorities in Denmark, KMD is a key partner of SAP for building and providing efficiency-enhancing public sector industry-specific solutions.

This partnership is designed to allow KMD to offer its customers in the public and utilities sector, a reduced time to market for SAP and to help address the problem of the shortage of skilled SAP personnel in Denmark.

Satyam will support KMD in executing SAP projects with 25-30 Satyam employees working for KMD from a dedicated offshore centre.

The Head of Satyam's European Operations, Dr Keshab Panda, in a statement said, "This partnership will strengthen our presence in Denmark and show our commitment to grow aggressively in Europe."
