River of discord

P.V. Sivakumar

Quiet flows the Godavari river on the Karimnagar-Adilabad border with the NTPC's Ramagundam Thermal Power Plant in the background. The river has become a bone of contention, with the ruling and the Opposition parties wrangling over irrigation projects.
