Mumbai , Feb. 2

MOVING Picture Company India Ltd announced it has signed an agreement with NL Films of the Netherlands to facilitate production of a Dutch feature film `Zoop in India'.

Total outlay of production in India would be Rs 2.8 crore.

Zoop is a popular Dutch TV-series for youngsters in the age group of 6-14 years. The third season is currently showing on TV. Last year, the first Zoop feature film, Zoop in Africa, was released in theatrical circuit. The success of the film has prompted NL Film Productions to make a sequel - Zoop in India.

Moving Picture Company said it has obtained permissions from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and is awaiting the nod of the Ministry of Environment.

The film is expected to be shot during February-March in Maharashtra and Kerala.

The company, a stock market listed entity, has recently produced corporate films for IFFCO, IFFDC, Satyam Computers and Nestle.
