New Delhi , Feb. 2 THE state owned airline, Indian Airlines on Thursday launched `unchecked fares' that offers highly reduced fares for travel in economy class on 146 sectors. In a statement, the airline has said that under the scheme a passenger can travel between Delhi and Kochi for Rs 3,200 against the current lowest one-way fare of Rs 8,035. Similarly, a passenger can travel between Delhi and Hyderabad for Rs 2,300 against the existing lowest fare of Rs 3,965, while the lowest one-way fare between Chennai-Delhi will be available at Rs 3,200 against the current lowest fare of Rs 5,065. The `unchecked fares' will be offered on a limited number of seats and are valid till April 30. A passenger can also fly between Chennai and Kochi for Rs 1,300 against the existing lowest fare of Rs 2,255 while a flight between Mumbai and Bangalore will be available for Rs 2,200 against the current lowest fare of Rs 2,975.
