Somaiya institute meet on marketing in Mumbai

`CUSTOMER is king' is the theme of the first international conference on marketing to be organised by the K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai, between February 5 and 7.

The conference will be held at the institute campus at Vidyavihar and will bring together speakers from the corporate and academic worlds to discuss and debate issues related to marketing.

According to a statement from the institute, over 40 academic papers from across the world have been shortlisted for the conference. Among the keynote speakers expected at the conference are Dr Stephen Goodwin, Professor of Marketing, Illinois State University, USA; Dr Basu Sharma, Professor of Business Policy, HR Management, and e-com, University of New Brunswick, Canada, and Mr Kishore Chaukar, Director, Tata Services, India.
