A French prosecutor has called for the imposition of a record euro 600,000 ($725,000) fine on the Master and the owner of the German KG company-owned Maersk Barcelona for allegedly creating what is claimed to be one of the biggest, about 61-km long, marine pollution slicks so far seen off the French Atlantic coast.
