AAI protest

This refers to the recent strike by AAI employees in protest over the government's decision to modernise airports. Their fear of job loss is really unwarranted.A few years ago, at the time of computerisation of banks, people thought they would lose out to computers, but in fact there are as many employees in computerised banks as there were earlier. The workers of the AAI need to put things in perspective and realise that as India marches into the global arena its infrastructure needs to be on a par with global standards.
