Ashish Sinha quits Polaris

Chennai , Feb. 6

MR Ashish Sinha, Head, North America, Polaris Software Lab, has quit the company to join Citi Bank in the US. He came from Orbitech Solutions following a merger with Polaris.

Post-merger, Mr Sinha became Polaris' Senior Vice-President, Business Solutions Development, and later head of Polaris Americas.

Mr Arun Jain, CEO and Chairman, confirmed Mr Sinha's exit and said the company had put in place a sales team in all major geographies. Mr Kartik Kaushik, head of Polaris business in Western Europe, has replaced Mr Sinha in the US. Based out of New Jersey, he is responsible for the entire region covering Canada, the US and Latin America, said Mr Jain.

Similarly, Mr Bikash Mathur has become Executive Vice-President and Business Head of Polaris Europe. Prior to this, he was heading the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. His key focus area is penetrating deeper into the German, Swiss, Benelux, Scandinavian and French markets.

Last quarter Polaris appointed Mr Arvind Mishra as Executive Vice-President & Global Head - Talent and Change. He is responsible for human resources and organisational change initiatives. Prior to joining Polaris, he was Vice-President, IBM Global Services, India.
