PNB, Mastercard pact for debit card

PUNJAB National Bank today tied up with MasterCard International to launch a signature-based debit card.

The `PNB MasterCard@ Debit Card' would be accepted at more than 1,20,000 merchant establishments as well as around 25,000 ATMs across the country.

"The launch of the debit card is part of PNB's efforts to provide the widest possible range of products and services to its customers," the Executive Director of PNB, Mr C.P. Swarankar, said at a function here to launch the card along with the Country General Manager (South Asia) of Mastercard International, Mr Nitin Gupta.
