Four Soft to hire 250 more

FOUR Soft Ltd, a Hyderabad-based company that develops transportation and logistics software products, plans to recruit around 250 people over the next two months.

Announcing this at a press conference in the city today, Mr Biju S. Nair, Vice-President, Finance and HR, Four Soft Ltd, said the company would recruit both software professionals and people with experience in the transport and logistics industries. However, most new recruits will be software professionals. The company, which currently has over 550 employees, plans to double the size of its workforce over the next 12 months, he added.

Initially, the plan is to recruit experienced professionals, though the company also plans to supplement this with campus placements, Mr Nair explained. The company plans to look at recruiting people from cities such as Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Pune. Meanwhile, the company is also working on a new product called `eCustoms', he said. This Net-based softwareis still at the development stage.
