VISAKHAPATNAM: With relations between India and the US improving and the US President, Mr George Bush, visiting India soon, there is a likelihood of Indian defence systems receiving more American technology.

This observation was made by the Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Arun Prakash, here on Friday. He was talking to reporters on his arrival from New Delhi for the President's Fleet Review to be held on Sunday.

On the Barak missile deal with Israel, he said the DRDO was likely to have a technical collaboration and even some co-production with the Israeli organisation.

A global tender was floated to acquire reconnaissance aircraft after the proposal to purchase P3C Orion aircraft, he added.
