Awards & Honours Leadership award Our Bureau
He was addressing a meeting organised by the Trivandrum Management Association (TMA) to present its `management leadership award 2005'. Presenting the award to Dr J. Hareendran Nair, Managing Director, Pankajakasthuri Herbals India Ltd, Mr Raghavan added that good management skills are required to ensure success in a field such as the manufacture and sale of ayurveda products. Earlier, in his keynote address Mr Sudhir Jalan, President, All India Management Association, emphasised that people, particularly managers, must understand that change is inevitable. Those who prepare for change and embrace it will be the only ones to succeed, he said. Similarly, people need to understand that economic factors will rule the world, he added. Dr Hareendran Nair, Mr P.H. Kurian, Secretary-Information Technology, Government of Kerala, and Mr M. Ayyappan, President, TMA were among those who addressed the gathering.
