People Pernod Ricard chief on India visit Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: The Managing Director of liquor major Pernod Ricard, Mr Pierre Pringuet, is on a two-day visit to India. According to the company, India has been amongst Pernod Ricard's most successful markets worldwide. The group views India as an important market for the future development of its international brands such as Royal Salute, Chivas Regal, Glenlivet, Martell, Ballantines, Jameson and Beefeater. "The group also continues to focus strongly on the growth of its powerful portfolio of leading locally bottled brands such as 100 Pipers and Royal Stag that have become household names in a short span in India," a release said. Pernod Ricard is present in the country through its 100 per cent owned subsidiary Seagram India.
