KOCHI: Aiming to improve awareness on new avenues to the researchers, academicians and industry for the effective utilisation of technology development, a workshop and exhibition was held here.

Associating with Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd and Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research organised the function.

The workshop held on the topic `Technology Development, utilisation and transfer' concentrated on various facilities and incentives available for promoting inventions and innovations and the need for effective transfer and utilisation of technology in the competitive world.

The workshop also emphasised the need for effective linkages between industry, academicians, research and development institutions.
