Commodity Markets Fall in wheat prices continues
New Delhi: Wheat prices declined in the wholesale grains market on Tuesday on increased selling by stockists.
Wheat MP (deshi) prices dropped to Rs 1,075-1,225 from the previous close of Rs 1,105-1,265 a quintal on stockists selling. Chakki atta (delivery) and roller flourmills also quoted lower at Rs 973-975 and Rs 980-990 against last close of Rs 1,000-1,010 and Rs 1,020-1,030 per 90 kg respectively.
RBD palmolein gains Mumbai: RBD palmolein and refined soya oil ruled higher on the local edible oils market on Tuesday. Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 436 per 10 kg. Imported refined soya oil was higher Rs 5 at Rs 357 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was higher Rs 3 at Rs 371 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was steady at Rs 318 per 10 kg. In futures segment, castor seed April contracts ended higher Rs 11 at Rs 1,519 per quintal over previous close. Spot sugar dips Mumbai: Sugar spot prices reacted marginally at the Vashi wholesale market on Tuesday. Small grade (S-30) was down Rs 6 at Rs 1,950-1,995 a quintal. Medium grade (M-30) was down at Rs 1,970-2,025.
