Wheat remains weak

New Delhi: Wheat prices continued to decline in the wholesale grains market on Wednesday on fresh arrivals.

Wheat MP (deshi) prices remained under pressure and lost further ground at Rs 1,050-1,175 from Rs 1,075-1,225 a quintal.

Wheat dara (for mills) dropped to Rs 940-942 as compared to previous level of Rs 970-972 a quintal. Chakki atta (delivery) and roller flour mills also traded lower at Rs 943-945 and Rs 970-980 from previous close of Rs 973-975 and Rs 980-990 per 90 kg respectively.
