Subex launches fraud management solution for telcos

Bangalore , Feb. 15

SUBEX Systems has launched ONTrack, a software that helps telecommunication companies reduce losses due to subscriber delinquency.

Cellular service providers are facing huge losses due to users who either deliberately or otherwise default their bills, accounting for 3-10 per cent of the total revenues.

The global average for losses due to intentional fraud is 4 per cent of an operator's revenues. With a fraud management system in place, operators can reduce this to one per cent.

"Seventy per cent of operators don't have a revenue maximisation solution," said Mr Subash Menon, Founder Chairman, President and CEO, Subex Systems.
