World Cup offer from Emirates

Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Emirates Airlines is offering passengers the chance to see the 2006 FIFA World Cup matches in Germany through issue of complimentary tickets with immediate effect.

An Official Partner of the event, Emirates intends to give away thousands of match tickets in this manner, a spokesperson for the airline said here.

The Dubai-based airline's customised packages start from less than $1,856 per person and includes hops to one of its four destinations in Germany; or to Zurich, Paris or Vienna. Two nights accommodation from a choice of 12 other cities where the matches will be played and a complimentary ticket to any one of the game, including the final, are also part of the deal.

The offer covers all matches scheduled between June 9 and July 9, the spokesperson added.
