According to the company, Good Mobile Defense brings security to all aspects of the handheld including third party applications, external storage cards, and handheld features such as wi-fi and bluetooth. With Good Mobile Defense, enterprises can comprehensively lockdown handhelds and ensure compliance with corporate security requirements.

It has the ability to disable data transfer ports such as bluetooth, wi-fi or HotSync, and the ability to lock handheld features such as cameras, microphones and speakers. Advanced Encryption Management, providing options to control the encryption of native handheld memory, storage cards, and specific applications is also built into it.
