Housing Finance Canara Bank home loan fest Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Revenue Minister, Mr K.M. Mani, will inaugurate a three-day home loan festival being conducted here by Canara Bank from Monday next. The highlight of the loan festival will be the concessional rates on offer that range between 7.25 per cent and 7.50 per cent to those who register themselves at the festival, a Canara Bank spokesman said here. While there is no processing charge involved, the festival has been further sweetened by virtue of the complete waiver of processing charges, free property and personal accident insurance, free legal charges and a nominal valuation fees. The festival will also feature sale options for solar water heaters at two per cent interest. An exhibition by leading property developers and dealers of solar water heaters has also been organised along with the three-day event. Home loan festivals have also been planned either concurrently or on days immediately following in other cities of the State as well. Kozhikode and Palakkad will follow the same schedule as Thiruvananthapuram (Monday), while Kollam and Ernakulam will host the festival from the following Thursday.
