Costliest, new-generation cruise ship

Royal Caribbean International has ordered a new generation cruise vessel with Finland's Aker Yards. With the contract price of an approximately EUR 900 million, this is the most expensive ship ever ordered in the history of commercial shipbuilding. It will take an estimated 5,800-man years of work to complete the 220,000 GRT vessel, with delivery in 2009.
