Vizag coking coal handling at new high

Visakhapatnam , Feb. 20

THE Visakhapatnam port has handled 69.99 lakh tonnes of coking coal during the current financial year till now, surpassing the previous best of 65.17 lakh tonnes handled during 2004-2005.

According to a press release issued by the port authorities, 21.82 lakh tonnes of finished fertilisers has been handled till now during the current financial year, surpassing the previous best of 21.73 lakh tonnes of finished fertilisers handled during 1999-2000.
