HR measures

The article `Making a difference through HR' (Business Line, February 13) makes for interesting and insightful reading. I fully agree with the author especially on points such as a better work environment contributing to enhanced productivity. People should enjoy where they work; money is not the sole inducement for people staying on in a particular organisation, and often factors such as proximity and flexible timings count. And providing a stimulating work atmosphere is the task before the CEO.
