Kolkata, Feb. 20

NATIONAL Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco) has taken yet another step towards improving transparency in providing information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 by launching a Web-enabled information seeking system.

The system enables an information seeker to directly seek information through the Web site of the company — `` www.nalcoindia.com".

A Nalco press note said this is an additional facility provided to the Indian citizens for faster information. This apart, there is a provision for furnishing the information through e-mail to the information seeker in case he has an e-mail ID. The system was launched on Saturday at the company's corporate office in Bhubaneswar.
