NEW DELHI:Canon India Pvt Ltd has appointed Mr Dhiren Singh as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Consumer Imaging. Prior to the appointment, Mr Singh held the post of AGM-Marketing at Videocon International Ltd.

Mr Singh would be responsible to create a "strong brand identity" for Canon's products, a company release stated.

The company has promoted Mr Som Gangopadhyay as the Assistant Director, Business Imaging Solution (BIS) Marketing. Mr Gangopadhyay, who has been with the company for two years, would now spearhead the entire operations for the BIS segment.
