SpiceJet to buy 10 Boeing aircraft

New Delhi , Feb. 21

THE no-frill airline SpiceJet announced on Tuesday that it would be buying 10 Boeing 737 aircraft including five Boeing 737-800 and five Boeing 737-900 Extended Range.

"The Boeing 737-900 will be ordered in a single economy class configuration. The aircraft will be deployed on high-capacity trunk routes like Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Bangalore," the airline said in a statement.
