China invites Indian cos

CHINA invited Indian IT firms to explore opportunities in the sector in Beijing, even as India's software companies association mooted a partnership to develop what it called "intelligent" products using locally developed software in Chinese goods.

The Vice-Mayor of Beijing, Mr Fan Bo Yuan, who is currently leading a delegation of 20 IT firms to India said, "I invite Indian software companies to come to Beijing and seek opportunities of cooperation and development."

He was speaking at the second Sino-India Software Industry Cooperation Summit, which focussed on developing avenues between the two countries for mutual progress through exchange and cooperation.
