CanBank MF to pay 40 pc for taxsaver

CANBANK Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 40 per cent in Canequity Taxsaver scheme.

A press release by the Canbank Mutual Fund said here on Tuesday that March 16 has been fixed as the record date for income distribution.

All the unit holders whose names appear in the register as on the record date are eligible for this income distribution.

On February 20, the NAV of the scheme was Rs 22.25.

The investment in the scheme up to Rs 1 lakh is exempted from tax under Section 80C of I-T Act, and the repurchase of units under the scheme can be made after a lock-in period of three years from the date of allotment, the release added.
