CHENNAI: ObjectFrontier Software, a US-based software development company, has set up a primary offshore development centre at Ascendas, the International Tech Park in Chennai. The centre is slated to be inaugurated on February 23, according to a release.

Mr James Walter, Chief Executive Officer, ObjectFrontier, was quoted in the release as saying that the new facility would help the company scale up operations from being a $2-million company to a $100-million company in the next five years.

This is the company's second centre in India, making the area of operations a total of 21,800 sq ft, housing over 200 professionals. The company plans to invest $2 million in the new centre, and recruit about 100 people this year.
