Citrix security tool sales surge

Our Bureau

COIMBATORE: The rising concern about data security and regulatory compliance has probably compelled enterprises to look for solutions that address these issues. And this became obvious when access infrastructure solutions provider - Citrix Systems Inc disclosed that its Password Manager solution sales skyrocketed in 2005 compared to deployments in 2004.

Citrix Password Manager incidentally streamlines management and deployment, improves enterprise security and regulatory compliance and powers user productivity. Company sources state that the Password Manager has remained the only `Enterprise Single Sign-On' (ESSO) solution till date.

The firm has stated compliance with regulatory mandates, rising incidences of identity fraud, increased adoption of wireless and remote technology and the maturation of biometric technology would play a vital role in boosting the demand for IAM solutions, including ESSO solutions such as that provided by Password Manager.
