IDBI launches `no frills' account

Mumbai , Feb. 22

IDBI Ltd has launched its no frills `Sabka' savings account with balance requirement of Rs 250 in rural and semi-urban branches.

This account will also enable customers to access IDBI branches, ATMs and services such as phone and mobile banking, said a press release from the bank.

Prior to this, IDBI already had a savings account product with a low minimum balance of Rs 1,000 only.
