The Goa Governor, Mr S.C. Jamir, will inaugurate a two-day programme, `Goa Agenda 2006', a seminar on information technology organised by the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and co-hosted by State-owned Infotech Corportion of Goa Ltd on Friday.
The theme is `Incubation Centers - Challenges for Replicating Successes,' said GCCI officials. The Industry Minister, Mr Luizinho Faleiro would be guest of honour.
GCCI plans to start an incubation centre at its upcoming complex at Verna in South Goa. This incubation centre would be a facility to all those upcoming entrepreneurs who have excellent business ideas but lack the financial and infrastructural backing to turn them into success, said the President of GCCI, Mr Nitin Kuncolienkar.
"We would be providing various advisory services such as Finance, HR, Legal, Technical, etc., to all the entrepreneurs who would be a part of the incubation centre. These services would be outsourced from experts in the related field," he stated. On this background, he said, Goa Agenda 2006 is an ideal opportunity for professionals to know more about the concept of Incubation Centre and interact with like-minded people to expand their business horizons.
