The new look Business Line

Guide to the New Look:

Your newspaper today comes with a new design that emphasises the range and depth of its content. As you read through the pages, you will find:

*More legible typefaces that will let your eyes glide smoothly and faster through the text

*A line-up of headlines and briefs at the top of the front page providing the pick of the stories inside

*A hierarchical page architecture that organises news according to their importance

*Info-boxes, blurbs and straplines that will lead your eyes through the page, and from page to page

The new design has been crafted by the world-renowned team of Garcia Media, led by

Dr Mario Garcia, who has worked to change the presentation of nearly 500 newspapers round the world.

On the wings of the re-design, you will find new content providing more width and depth to the coverage.

*The New Manager, which debuts on Monday, will bring you information and articles that will help you cope with today's dynamic business environment.

*BrandLine, the new avatar of Catalyst, will stay sharply focused on branding, advertising and marketing.

Coverage of commodities is being enlarged. With gold, silver and crude oil becoming credible investment options, we shall offer our readers the necessary information to make better informed moves.

We intend to use the Internet to complement the information in the print edition; you will have cues alongside stories that have a fuller version on the Web.

But what will remain unchanged, we promise, will be our endeavour to present you a newspaper that values reliability of information over the speculative.

We shall continue to check even more vigorously the facts behind every news report and maintain the level of integrity that we currently bring to bear on our reports
