The jarring ring of a cell phone is often the bane of many a meeting. Business Line's redesign launch was no exception. Speakers react differently - some with irritation some gamely act as if they have not heard the tune.

But few make it an impromptu part of their presentation as Dr Mario Garcia did while presenting the redesigned elements of Business Line.

In his audiovisual presentation of the paper's redesign, there are 10 basic elements, he started, when as if timed to go off, the chiming of a mobile phone broke in. Dr Garcia paused as the tune went on... and as the scene changed on the screen... `all right thank you,' he told the unwelcome musician.
