Mahesh, Chairman and Managing Director, Sundaram Brake Linings, Mr M.V. Subbiah of the Murugappa group and Mr Ram Shahaney, Chairman, Ashok Leyland, chatted with the Big Guest from Mumbai, it was evident that the function held to unveil the redesigned Business Line was to glitter through the evening with stars of the Indian industry.

Ms Mallika Srinivasan, Director, TAFE, was there, as was Mr N. Sankar and Mr N. Kumar of the Sanmar group. Mr S. Viji, Chairman, Sundaram Finance Ltd; Mr A. Vellayan, Vice-Chairman, EID Parry (India) Ltd; Mr Ram V. Tyagarajan, Chairman, Thiru Arooran Sugars; and Mr B. Santhanam, Managing Director, Saint-Gobain Glass India Ltd were among the others who came from the manufacturing industry. Dr K.C.
