IT-enabled Services States - Tamil Nadu Lawkim opens centre in Coimbatore Our Bureau
Coimbatore , Feb. 24 Lawkim India Ltd, a member of the Godrej group and involved in IT-enabled services, has launched a training centre in the city to impart soft-skills for those aspiring a career in business process outsourcing or in call centres. This is the second training centre of Lawkim in Tamil Nadu after Chennai. The Coimbatore centre, which will have a training package ranging from 12 hours to 120 hours, will equip the learners with relevant industry specific domain knowledge and help improve their spoken English skills. Different modules such as customer service, communication skills, telephone etiquette, call centre basics, sales and telesales would be covered under the programme which will also take into account the needs to upgrade the modules suitable to the local market requirements. The centre will train 80-100 people with a per batch intake of 20-25, according to Mr Uttam Saklani, Deputy Manager, Marketing, Lawkim India, Mumbai. He said Lawkim, which runs its own training centres in Mumbai, Pune and Chennai, has proposed to open more centres through franchise route in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi.
