Vedams to invest $2 m more

Hyderabad , Feb. 24

Vedams Software Solutions, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Vedams Inc., based on San Jose, has announced plans to expand its India operations located at Hyderabad, wherein the company expects to invest about $2 million within 12 months.

Speaking to reporters, the Director of Vedams Software, Mr Hemendra Allu, said that the company was in the process of setting up a new facility with a built up area of 20,000 sq.ft. and work on areas of software development and testing.

The company's R&D teams focus on new technologies that support grid-based storage and networking storage areas.

He said that the company, in partnership with a Nasdaq-listed networking products company, Xyratex, plans to work on a range of new storage technologies.
